Chelsea Desperate to sign Morata after losing out on Lukaku

One month away from the start of the 2017/2018 football season, reigning champions Chelsea are still without a striker after coach Antonio Conte unceremoniously dispensed of the services of prolific hitman, Diego Costa. The Blues were looking to sign Romelu Lukaku but were beaten to the deal by Manchester United.

As a result, the London club have now turned their attentions to Real Madrid's Alvaro Morata and are ready to offer around £70million for the 24-year old.
The Spaniard who scored 20 goals last season is unhappy at Madrid where his first team opportunities are limited and will consider making the switch to Chelsea where he will be tasked with leading the line.

Chelsea are willing to offer him a deal worth more than the £115,000 per week he earns at the Bernabeu.

La Liga D-Day!! Ronaldo Ready To Ensure Real Madrid Win Title Ahead Of Barcelona (Read)

Real Madrid forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, is primed to power his side to the La Liga title this Sunday.
Ronaldo scored twice as Real Madrid beat Celta Vigo 4-1 on Wednesday, taking Zinedine Zidane’s men to within a point of the La Liga title.
Madrid went into their outstanding fixture, knowing that four points from their final two league fixtures, would guarantee them the title regardless of Barcelona’s results. And they got three of those points in Galicia.
Madrid only need to draw at Malaga on Sunday, to clinch their 33rd La Liga title.
Their arch rivals, Barcelona will host Eibar at the same time, hoping that Zidane’s men slip and they take full advantage.
“There is still one game to go. We know that we have to keep going right until the end, and team has been really good, we’ve played well, with confidence. We know that Málaga are strong at home, but we have to concentrate on ourselves, go there, and win.

“We’re going there for a win. This team always has that objective. We’re Real Madrid and we have to demonstrate that we’re better and that we want to be the champions,” Ronaldo said ahead of the final round of fixtures.
Speaking of a possible double, he stated that “we’re thinking exclusively about Sunday. We have to win to be the champions. After, we have 15 days to prepare for the Champions League.”

“Chelsea feels like a big family. When you can work in those conditions, day in, day out. That’s magnificent. Of course there were frustrations because I didn’t play a lot.
“So enjoying myself with the teammates wasn’t always that simple. But I also understood that I had some to work to do.
“But I’m happy. My teammates have always been supporting me. They encouraged me to grab my chance and advised me not to let my head down. They are happy for me now. That’s very positive.
“Of course this is a lesson for me, a period that’s been very hard for me, but I’ve also learned a lot. I’ve made a lot of progress.
