The Delta State Government in Partnership with Eastern Metal Limited is organising skills upgrading programme for practicing Artisans in these selected skill areas.
1. Electrical Works
2. Plumbing
3. Refrigeration/Air Conditioning
4. Tiling
The programme will involve an 8 week Skills Upscale training after which successful artisans will be certified to offer their services to customers on a virtual Artisans marketplace.
The training is aimed at improving employability and deployment, as well an opportunity to connect artisans to potential customers through the marketplace.
Interested and qualified practicing Artisans in the above skill areas should complete this online form correctly (applications are strictly online). Interviews will be carried out as part of the screening process.
Kindly note that the training is free of charge as Training Fees are borne by the Government.
The Training for selected Artisans will be conducted in Asaba.
Also note that no transportation costs or accommodation will be provided. Selection for the training is at the discretion of the organisers.
Benefits to Successful Applicants in addition to Skills Upscale include a Higher Certification and the privilege of being part of a regional pool of skilled artisans engaged by ClickAfix.
